Internal/External Balance

Are you familiar with the formula in the world of economics that signifies a state of internal/external balance using the concepts of consumption, investment, government spending, employment, imports, etc? That’s not the kind of internal/external balance I want to bring to your attention today.

I’m talking about the kind of balance that leads you to feel calm, grounded, clear-headed and motivated, the balance that comes from moving your attention from the world of distractions in the outer world to the awareness of your peaceful inner center. Yes, the good news is, you do have a peaceful inner core that you can access and utilize to keep you going through all of life’s challenges.

It does take some effort to reveal it. It’s the best investment you can make for creating a healthy, sustainable existence for yourself. The best thing about it is it has a ripple effect. As you discover that place in yourself and make use of it, you observe the results in your relationship with all life around you. You experience how the power of one can make lasting change.

The journey to your own inner world starts with you taking a few moments intentionally to turn your awareness to sensations of body, and to feeling and listening to the flow of your own breath. Do it now!

Open your self to just this moment now, listen to the murmur, rhythm and pulsations of all that is happening inside you and around you. Allow for the active observer of self to appear

“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
